The Network
TurnKey Mail operates out of multiple Data-Centers through our Parent Company:
TurnKey Internet. Each TurnKey
Data-Center is a state of the art facility with redundant UPS (battery),
generator backup, smoke detection/fire protection systems and under 24/7
camera surveillance with on-site guard patrols. Each of our geographically
redundant Data-Centers connects to multiple redundant carriers, forming the
TurnKey Network. In the event of a fiber cut, service outage, or regional disaster
that effects one carrier or even an entire Data-Center, the TurnKey
network remains fully intact and operational.
The Servers
| The servers utilized
by TurnKey Mail are all Dell Powered, and exclusively utilize Intel based
CPU's. All Servers run a custom built highly secure and optimized Red Hat
Enterprise Linux operating system. Our storage systems (disk) are designed
around Network Appliance raid file servers, and individual mail servers can
have local raid arrays where desired. All servers connect to our network via
Cisco network switches with redundant HSRP protocols to ensure high reliability.
All servers are backed up daily and off-site backups are spooled between each
Data-Center in case of a natural disaster. |
